Who are we solving for?
To solve complex problems in today's world, interdisciplinary programs have come into existence. Student enrollment has surged in these programs, yet, studies show that these students need support to develop their ability to integrate interdisciplinary perspectives.Connecting Dots strives to support these college students in interdisciplinary programs to synthesize their learning across disciplines.
How are we solving it?
Reflect
College students in the interdisciplinary program experience self-reflection to integrate learnings across courses.Learners upload learning materials from 2 courses, choose and answer critical questions at the intersection of the 2 courses.
Visualize
Visual concept mapping scaffolded by AI, helps learners to organize their understanding visually.Based on learner's reflections, the platform generates a concept map to visually represent the relationships between concepts.
Aha!
By doing so, as an outcome, learners can synthesize concepts across disciplines more easily, and also increase their confidence in integrating different perspectives.
